So, I swapped out my injectors today. I put everything back together and I can notice quite a bit of up/down play in the injectors between the manifold and fuel rail. Is this normal? The 3 black spacers are in there and all 3 bolts are tightened.

Oh, they went in fine. But I can push/pull them up and down almost a 1/4" with the rail tightened all the way. Just wondering if that's supposed to be normal? I can push them all the way down if that's all it takes, but what keeps them from popping back up a little?

On the stock injectors the injector sheet hold the injector between the head and the fuel rail.
Do you have something to serve the same purpose?

I have stock injectors, and it appears the stock replacements I have along with the stock ones I took out are both missing these.
Anyone in southeastern WI have a set?

Almost any Mitsubishi in the junkyard is going to have these on their injectors. They are cheap from the dealer too. If you didn't change the insulators in the head when you changed the injectors you'll want them too, the old ones won't seal because their are hard and dried out.
