Evo8 Injector Install

I just installed some Evo 560's a few weeks ago. They really are awesome injectors, flow considerably more than that. The only issue I had was that the injectors are physically shorter than the stock ones, and if you install them like stock they won't be all the way in. I used some thick washers in place of those stock black spacers that brought the rail down a little lower to make them fit in snug. I'd be interested to know after you install them if you have the same issue. I'm about -23 on the SAFC :)barf: ) and it's still a tad rich.

They are exactly the same size as the stock injectors from the base of the pintle to the end of the inlet. The pintles may be longer, shorter, or the same as what you stock injectors were depending on what you had but that doesn't matter since they hang down in the insulator.

These injectors are faster than the stock 450s so you will wind up pulling more fuel out at idle to make up for the change in deadtime.

These injectors infact due have a negative deadtime compared to our stock injectors, as steve mentioned. If infact you can tune around them i'm not too sure, but i myself did have a hard time with getting my fuel trims to zero out utilizing dsmlink.

I love my chip burned for 1000cc injectors, All I have is a maft, and I see ~45% idc at wot under 21 lbs of boost.

just a suggestion for deadtime...
