Based on the size of the leak, I have to assume the heat gasket is responsible. I was using soapy water and the gasket was wet when I removed the manifold. There was a small leak on the threads were the npt fitting thread in. Im just going to Teflon tape the shit outta them.

So boost leaks are all fixed, strangely still only seeing max 23-24 psi with the hallman. the fp black will be here wed ;0

There are two different hallman pro boost controllers. One being the pro version that allows you to run a lot of boost over the waste gate, and the pro rx version that only allows you to run 4-5psi more than waste gate pressure. Seems like you have the pro rx version with the weaker spring in it.

Turbo is basically brand new, I'm almost certain that's all i can get with the hallman. I have the fp black going in tmrw ! Came in today

I just looked back at the invoice and you are correct, I purchased the rx boost controller by accident, it's only good for an additional 5 psi

Now I'm running the external setup so my starting point is 21-22 psi , so I'll be happy for the time being Untill I get the built block in the car

STM sells a ball and spring upgrade for like 10 bucks on their website, if I were you I'd try that route first... An fp black on a street car seems like.. Beyond overkill.

It's not going to be a street, well street strip...... It's not my daily. I want to push the car as far as I can with a build block. Fp green won't get me there.

Yes sir, apparently the hallman rx is only good for 5psi, I didn't notice the extra spring to increase boost. Regardless I have the fp black on the Tial Mvr at 20 psi currently. I don't know how far I should go. I'm not getting any knock....stock lower end and head bolts

Yah....if I'm installing headbolts, the blocks coming out for forged Pistons.

Eagle rods, Ross pistons
