Hi guys/gals this is my second post as part of this awesome community. I have purchased a clean 2G Talon (95 Auto AWD) which is nearly stock aside from exhaust, MBC, and boost guage. Iam a little confused about how to proceed with my mild build due to the sheer amount of different information being given to me
. First let me start off with saying my hands on mechanical ability nearly non existent other than small jobs such as oil changes, brake pads ect ...so this is why im keeping the build very mild because every mod I do the car has go to into a shop which costs $$$$$.
-I have recently purchased a 14b turbo + install kit, and I was also going to throw on a manifold and upper IC pipe /1bov during this time.
Questions:
Basically guys i want to know how much I can SAFELY get away with using the new 14b & stock fuel system without employing DSMlink.
-Using the cars stock fuel system and NO tune is there any point of doing the 14b swap, Manifold, and ic/bov mods? (I will be keeping the boost at a absolute maximum of 14-15psi)
If tune is needed can I affectively get this set up tuned by someone with a Apexi S-AFC piggyback or so I absolutely need DSM link?
-Would there even be a noticable performance gain with a 14b @ 14psi with stock fuel system????
