I have a 2600 on my AWD and wouldn't have it any other way. Personally I wouldn't go with a 2600 on a FWD though...seems like it would be hard to drive - they really bite hard. When I turbo'd my 3g I went to a CFDF 2500 and loved it.
 
The pressure plats have a lot to do with it. A stock clutch can get crankwalk and they do all the time the fact is though when you put on a 2100 or a 2600 the pressure u put on the crank increases which will make it more likely to walk. Do a search theres like a 1000 threads on how the pressure affects the crank :). But either way i believe if your gonna get it your gonna get it the 2600 just helps it happen faster
 
I just got my ACT2600, i'm loving it. Though that might be because i was running a burnt out atock clutch for like 4 months..
 
I wouldnt think you would need a 2600 for your fwd. I have a 2100 in my awd and love it. Havent tried the 2600 but was thinking of going to that next time around since I now have a daily driver. Have had the 2100 for about 3 years and its still holding real good. And when I launch, its always at 5500rpm or higher. Couldnt even count the launches let alone races. Im very impressed with it.
 
2100 I have and love... so I vote 2100... I dont know if you need a 2600 for your purposes.
