In dash DVD

I have a question. What makes this Jensen in dash IPOD ready, what cable is used and is it possible to do something similar with other in dash dvd players

Well, the jensen ones have motor problems over time. They'll just quit working. I've seen it many times. The IPOD ready is just the capabilities it have to hooking up and playing the IPOD with the controls on the DVD player. Any other brand like pioneer and eclipse have IPOD ready capabilities. The new 2006 pioneer brand actually have a very nice IPOD controls on it. I installed one last week and it impressed me a lot. They've come a long way since their first IPOD ones and really cleaned up and display. So take a look at those, I can guarantee that it'll be better than a Jensen.

I have the DVD/cd player(Jensen) your talking about. Haven't had any probs yet. I bought mine online for 425.00.......No problems as of yet plays DVD fine.

you can get that same head unit at wal mart for less i just seen it there today.

Those links were for references only. I originally saw it at walmart and the ipod interface was attractive to me. I know most head units are Ipod ready these days but what shows up on the screen with the jensen is pretty cool.
