Importance of surfacing flywheel-new clutch?

I have a new act2600 that I wanna put in the car. Now I changed both my tranny and the flywheel last summer and I havent driven much since... Is it necesery to resurface the wheel anyway? Could it have become faulty in that time you think?Maybe driven 10K miles since....at the tops..many of those long travel miles.

Get it resurfaced. It isn't that much. Make sure it is stepped propperly.

Yes may as well and make sure the machine shop shows you its to stepped down .610 otherwise problems with disengagement will occur. i have seen way to many shops just resurface without setting the step. Something about being too lazy or cheap to pull the dowels and do it right.
