I just got my new clutch and Findanza Aluminum flywheel installed on my 90 tsi.
New parts installed flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder, stainless clutch line.
It started up just fine and it will drive, but if I give it any more than just a little gas the engine just rev's up and it makes a noise.
I bleed the clutch line a couple of more times and it is still doing it.
I'm thinking I might need a extended slave cylinder rod.
Not really sure what do to at this point.
Looking for suggestions and what may be wrong?
Thanks!:thumb:

Yes, the pedal. If you look on the back of the clutch pedal, you will see a rod at the top of the pedal. On this rod there is a nut that you can loosen that allows you to adjust you engagement of your clutch. If you loosen the nut and adjust the rod out your engagement point will be higher. Vice versa for the opposite direction. This could take quite a few times to got dialed in just the way you want it. There's a fine line between engagement and slipping.

Yeah i had the same issue just adjust it. Try not to drive too much with it slipping you dont wanna damage that new clutch setup. Mine would hold good til i hit boost then it would rev freely. Goodluck i kept a pair of pliers with me for about a week to get it just right.

Well I adjusted the rod, but it only moved a little and now it doesn't seem to want to spin any more.
The clutch is engaging a little higher off the floor now, but it is still slipping.
Right before I changed the clutch/flywheel, my slave cylinder started leaking and it was replaced.
I read that after the slave fails, it usually does equal damage to the master cylinder.
I'm going to replace the master cylinder now, they are cheap and it seems like I should replace it anyway.
Any tips on installing the new master cylinder?
That might make it easier to align everything?
Thanks for the help y'all.
