Well i just bought a new talon. I put a bunch of go fast parts on and its was really tempting today to to see what this bad boy can do. Their are only about 30miles on the spec stage 1 cluch and i stupidly did a 3rd gear pull and the clutch started slipping. Myquestion is did i hurt anything bad enough so that when the clutch is actually broken in it will slip? Or am i putting down too much power for a spec stage 1 clutch? I also installed a fidanza flywheel at the time. it was used but and i didnt change the friction surface. the friction surface didnt have any hot spots on it either.

thanks
david

Spec says at a minimum of 400 miles. Im just curious on if i messed anything up for the future of the clutch tho.....

thanks
david

You should have put break in miles on it, Like an act clutch.. That is, If there were a recommended amount of miles from the manufacturer of the clutch. If there were, You're not going to get it replaced, You'll hafto purchase another one and pay the money again.

how do you like the stage 3? i have one sitting in my room waiting for my fullybuilt 2.0. the only reason why i threw the stage 1 in was because it was free with the car so why the hell not!.

anyways does anyone know if i screwed this clutch up or not?

thanks
david
