Hey guys im about to start to replace and build about everything on this car ...check my list of mods on my profile to see what has already been upgraded...does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove old rust proofing with the dirt it has collected since 92 ... also if anyone knows where i can get a new aluminum two piece rear driveshaft please let me know ...i found a company in DETROIT called shaftmasters but they stop making the driveshaft for DSM for now and i dont want the driveshaft from the driveshaft-shop. I welcome all information and input guys ...:D:) heres some picture of what the car currently looks like

As u guys can see from the valve cover i manage to score a 4G63 from a VR4RS jdm

hey guys yeah thats the dirt that im about to remove ...do u know a good product to clean the old rust proofing from a car let me know ...

man for rust I use POR15. It amazing stuff, I painted my strut towers (2g) 4 years ago and you would swear that I did it yesterday. Its not like regular primer where you have to remove all the rust first and then paint it and hope it doesnt come back. This stuff is awesome!

The kit also comes with some industrial cleaner that strips oils and dirt.

Just make sure you WEAR GLOVES!!! The paint will sink into your skin and WILL NOT come off, trust me I know

My bad! :D I was driving and replying on my phone and obviously not reading. Before I get flamed, it was a really long red light! I swear!

I found some stuff called Purple Power. When I was up north I coated eveything with a LPS3 type self healing waxy coating. After I moved south I tryed to remove the stuff and nothing would cut it off. This Purple Power is amazing spray it on and let it set for a minute and pressure wash it is so strong I pulled all the inked data off my firewall data plate. It will etch crome beware.
