im planing to get a 2g gsx? question??????

hi i recently own a spec v sentra but i really plan getting a 97+ gsx! i just want know what are the major problems with these car also how easy are they to modd? i really want to beat my friend with an srt-4 how much would it take to make it faster? i got more quetions but cant remember right now hope you guys can help?

Major problems with cars happen when maintenance and preventive maintenance is not performed.

You will hear about crankwalk which does happen to all motors. Just check for crank play and see if it's within spec before you purchace or take hard right turns and see if the clutch drops to the floor. Pressing in the clutch and the RPMs drop is also a slight indication

It's going to be at least a 10 year old car, so there will definitely be maintenance issues you will have to work on. Good cars overall, and easy to modify.

Yes, they can be modified for a lot of power. Power takes money and time though. You will deffinatly need to do maintenance first though before anything.
