Well Imgettign really close to giving up on my car. I have about every boost issue at once, hits 10psi and cuts out, spickes to almost 20psi and hits a wall, also get flutter(under light/low boost). I though my MBC was adjusted wrong. So i remove the MBC and run straightoff the WG it self. With running off WG pressure its hittingawall at 0psi. I replaced what I clould find for vac leaks, fixed what I knew was boost leak. Is my WG shot? BoV shot? I dont have a air compressor so I cant do a actual BLT. I should take it to the gas station and use their compressor LOL.
 
Im still running stock BOV. Im thinking of modding it or crushing it
 
It's a dsm your always going to run into problems. I have an electical issue. Never had a boost problem. But my stock bov died and made turbo flutter which if u don't know occurs when the bov opens up too late! I'd replace all your boots bov and mbc if the problem still occurs u might jst have to sell it
 
Well it help to be running on all 4 cylinders. #4 injector isnt firing so this would be a big part of my issues.
 
go buy a can of starting fluid and spray the hell out of everything. use brake clean if you dont want something as harsh. also check at your gas station before you go and buy/make an air tank. stations around me are regulated to only like 35psi so retards don't blow up they're tires.

if its just the wg just weld it shut and run max boost LOL jk
 
Or if you feel like being cheap(like me LOL), Just go buy a refillable air can that holds like 125psi and spend $1.50 in quarters filling it up at the gas station.

Light flutter is normal at very low boost. Get some mass air cleaner and clean out the MAF just to make sure that isn't the issue. My guess is you have some really big boost leaks.

Don't use that Mass air flow cleaner on a karman sensor, It is not a hot wire sensor, It can ruin the maf. Just sayin...
 
Ok I think my BOV is shot. At 3k rpm and between 2 to 5psi car cuts out. I did a BLT and fixed all that I could find(couldnt pump more than maybe 3 psi into motor)
 
I know I do not own a turbo dsm yet but, heres what i got to say on your issue.

On my 1993 hyundai scoupe turbo... I was running 5psi *stock boost*, I installed a MBC, and ran it up to 10 psi, sometimes the car even at 3 psi would cut out and fall on its face. I reinstalled the stock boost controller and it ran fine. I put the MBC back on and same thing it would spool quick up to 3-4 psi and fall on its face. If i set it for 5 psi with the MBC it still would sometimes cut out.
