2G Ignition Switch

hello i am haveing just a liiiitttllle prob my key will not go passed acc to lock to remove my key but for some reason it wont go to lock any idea whats going on? would i need to replace the switch? or can this be fixed? since it wont go passed acc i still can start my car just not able to fully turn my car off.

Sounds like a ignition switch issue ...... or lockout. I would go to Salvage yard and get a new on with key ..and try to get trunk and door locks also ...

the red circle is whats not turning all the way to the lock position and not the part where i put the key (2ed pic) couldnt i just replace the switch ( 3ed pic ) and just use my ignition lock cylinder (2ed pic)?

yes. you could replace the actual lock reciever and keep your key cylinder.

Ok sounds good now I just have to figure out how to take it out

you should be able to push the pin in the last pic posted. possibly in conjunction with the white plastic nipple from the first pic. should slide out after that.
