is your e brake on?

haha...no of course not. i believe it might have to do with my brake lines. their old and probably arent allowing the fluid to run through or maybe the caliper itself isnt disengaging. it happened once again today. i had to get to work so i kept driving OMG but luckily it stopped and didnt do it again

My 96 2.4/auto spyder was running fine then the check engine light popped on and after I shut it off and restarted the car if felt like it was running on only two cylinders. I dropped a lil bit of water on each exhaust tube with it running and only 2-3 were hot. I first swapped coil packs with another one I had. Restarted it ran for 3-5 seconds like normal then crapped out again. I had another power transistor so I swapped them out. When I pulled the plug on it there was a lot of moisture in it. When you look inside the PT there is a hole in the center between the 2 sets of terminals and there was some bluish green stuff oozing out so I am pretty sure it is toast. I plugged the other one I had in and it fired right up and so far is running good. Disconnecting battery now to clear check engine light and will see if thats all it was. I would check your Power Transistor first before replacing the coil pack.

for your leak... you can use propane while idling.. just pass it near the suspected area and the idle will rise when a leak is present...
