so recently i fixed a valve cover gasket, plugs and wires, and a fuel injector. solving a misfire, oil leaks, and a rough idle.

now. . . my back breaks are so bad they've locked me out of reverse. my back right tire just drags.

like the title says. . . if it's not one thing. . . it's a-f'ing-nother.

Talking about a 13 year old car here, things are going to go wrong with it.

Not just dsms bud. Hell, i have a honda crx (89) and it's got issues too. I put a new ball joint, and now a tie rod is bad. Then it started overheating, so I go to do a radiator flush and find the radiator is basically falling apart.

Every old car will have issues. Hell I've only drove my dsm maybe 100 miles and already put in a new battery, alternator, and I just ordered dual piston calipers because the brakes are grinding horribly.
Should say "the joy of owning a car".

Don't give up.

yea issues will happen to a car 11 years old, but a valve breaking for no reason....that was a first for me. i wasn't even running her hard. and mine has been down longer than i've driven it
