Well get the car back going good and last night decide to tune it in at 30LBS. Car was pulling hard then I started getting what felt like bad blow out. I noticed the headlamps started dimming at this point. SO we turn it around to head back to the house and in the process stall it on the side of the rd. Turn it over great battery alm dead. Just my luck alt is dead car was running off the battery. Good thing alt has a lifetime warrenty. Oh well no track tonight looks like next thursday and another disappointment along the way.

I DONT mind straight forward probs, its the phanton/weird stuff that bothers me. ya its a little setback but it wont keep ya down for long

More pissed about the car not being able to run tonight won't have time to get it together after work and make the track. Will have to wait til next thursday to run. Will have it back on the rd Sat. hopefully. I will say the 3065 makes boost FAST compared to the 35R on the other car. Cannot wait to see how it comes together.

I definitely hear you about set backs. Although mine happened a couple days ago and I didn't notice the implications until today. I was about to drive the car after a year of working on it and trying to get a replacement engine. After buying a JDM engine, I noticed where the oil turbo send line there was some oil sensor. Well, I never noticed that the oil sensors thread was fine and my banjo bolt was coarse. But it seemed to go in just fine and I even took it out a couple times and put it back in with no problem. But the other day after finding out that my coolant banjo bolt on the rear of the turbo wasn't tight enough, I took it off thinking I was going to take the entire turbo off. But, being the lazy person I am, I was able to get a wrench behind and give it a good quarter turn. So, I put everything back that I had to take off for that adventure and replaced the leaky rubber coolant hose that goes to the oil housing cooler. So, I started the car today in a joyous fashion (thinking I'd get to drive it tonight) and then I turned it off. I go to put the stupid plastic dirt guards on the car and I notice a puddle of oil underneath. My first reaction was "oh crap, the makeshift oil return line is leaking ... so I tightened up the pipe squeezer a bit but that didn't solve the problem. But then, I remembered the one banjo bolt that wouldn't tighten all the way (and consequently wouldn't crush the crush washers.) So I went in and tried to tighten it to no avail. After taking the bolt out, my worst nightmares came true as I saw a metal shaving in the threads of the bolt. Words of anger ensued and now I have to take out a bunch of things just to get room to put a helicoil in.

So now I have my car delayed for possibly another one to two days until the helicoil is completely installed and the parts are back. Not to mention I have to drain the coolant for a second time.

No i thinnks its from advance or autozone, I put the new one on last night but didnt have time to rerun the main power wire so will not run the car til tomarrow.
