idle

ok last night the car ran fine.

so this morning i get in and start her up. she idles like usual and then all of sutton the rpms take a dive. The car tries to adjust and does, but then goes right back to it. If you put in drive, it does the same thing. sounds horrible though. almost sounds like a huge exhaust leak when that happens. I turned it off and back on same things. After it got warm, I turned it off and back on and then mysteriously it was gone. well for a minute anyways. I just turned the car off, I wasnt going to take a risk of breaking down in rush hour traffic in the rain.

could it be as simple as spark plugs doing that? Figure it did it right at start up. It has been acting up a little when starting everynow and then, but nothing that affected the idling.

If the idle goes up and down constantly then its idle surge. Search that if thats whats happening. It could be just a tune up or boost leak/vaccuum leak

Sounds like it could be moisture causing problems with your coil pack or plug wires.

I put new plugs in. I noticed 2 of them were really loose. Perhaps that was it. Also noticed the oil was low. So, combination of both prob cause my issues. So far no other issues have arrised that I know of.
