:talon: I have a 1992 Eagle Talon TSi and it has 83,000 miles on it. Fairly low miles for the model. When I got it in run great and I have run it a little hard but not no more than anyone else would, they are fun little cars. Well me and my dad has put a greddy blow off vavle on it and a boost controller, but that is it. The boost is turned up about a pound over stock. Well lately it hasnt been running the best. When the car is sitting still at stop lights or drive thrus, etc, will idle up and down from about 1,000 rpms to 1,500rpms just idles kinda wild. We popped the hood on it and there looks to be a little bit of oil, or some liquid coming out of the BOV and we have NO CLUE why, my dad thinks maybe the turbo might be going bad. The car also ticks a little but in an earlier forum I was told it needed lash adjusters so we got some, just havent put them in yet. Also, sometimes the car will backfire. I think this is because it is running a little rich but not sure. Does anyone know how to fix my problem. I love this little car and want it to be as fast as it was when I got it. Please reply back if you know what I need to do. Thanks!! :talon:

When you removed your original blow off valve there should have been a hose going from the blow off valve back to the intake pipe. If you removed that after installing your greddy blow off valve then that means your not recurculating the air like you should be. The air sensor attached to your air filter reads the amount of air coming into your system and sends that signal to the ecu. If you are recurculating that air after the air flow sensor reads it then your engine is not getting the air the ecu is telling it is. I believe this will make your car run rich. But you should definatley check that hose that goes from the blow off valve to the intake pipe.

Simple friggin Words no explanation needed Put Stock Blow Off Valve back on your can run a aftermarket blow off valve untill you buy a 250 mass air flow translator (MAFT) and GM MAF and then you even need hard intercooler piping unless you hooked the tube that came off your stock blow off valve onto this greddy!

You just need to recirculate your BOV, usually most Greddy's can do this. Also the oil coming out of the BOV is usually from the crankcase vent and PCV valve being recirculated back into the turbo intake. Not a big deal, but you can get a vented catch can and plug the holes on your intake to get rid of it. Just make sure you clean all of your piping and intercooler out well. Good Luck!
