I just rebuilt a 6 bolt for my 96 tsi. Everything bolted up nicely, i even spent the extra money for the adapter harness to go from the crank and cam sensor of the 2g to the cam sensor of the 1g. Im pretty sure it is in time perfectly. When i start it, it wont stay running unless i keep givin it gas. Any suggestions would be a great help im open to anything anyone can give me. :talon:

Its pretty sad when i have to reply to my own question. I joined this site to get help with my problems and possibly help other people with their problems. But so far no help and bad feedback. Come on doesnt anyone out there have any sugestions???????????????????????????

Does it idle when the engine is warm?

Did you try adjusting the BISS screw on the throttle body?

Are you running larger injectors?

Are there any boost leaks?

Dsmlink? Wideband?

You need to be more specific of whats going on here, what you have done so far, and what mods are on the car. There isnt much in your profile...... More info= more help

Havent done the boost leak test yet, the injectors are stock well everything is stock except for the internals of the engine. I done a compression test and it checked out ok. Ive had a couple ppl tell me that the cam sensor i used from a 1st gen could be 180 degrees out like the tab itself,. On the boost leak test im not real sure on how to do that could someone tell me how to do that? But thanks for the replies I really appreciate it, sry bout the not enough information part. Oh yea i dont have a wideband or dsm link on it yet i wanted to get it runnin before i started put on all my performance parts. If I left out any more need information let me know and ill tell you. But thanks for the replies!!!

Could it be how i hooked up the boost soleniod thing ### i wasnt 100% sure how the vacuum lines hooked back up on it?:talon:
