idle is horrible

i had a 6bolt bottom end put on to my 7 bolt this summer and when i got the car back (before it left the shop), i put a 95 eprom in with dsmlink, but we could never hook up with dsmlink for a month straight, then i decided to go with greddy emanage ultimate(something that doesnt have to go through the obdii port), and now i cant get the car to idle for anything. i have since then changed out the spark plugs and put my stock injectors back in. and i still cant get it to idle. would anyone know why this could happen. i have checked the ecu and it is fine. would a wiring problem cause this???? any ideas would be helpful. thanks.

Explain how it idles. From the little bit of info you gave me, I would suspect a boost leak or a bad ISC.

it sounds like it is misfiring a little bit, but when you rev the engine to about 2500 it will start to bog sometimes until you let the throttle go and sometimes you can go past it and it is fine. but when it idles, it just sounds like it is misfiring. i changed the spark plugs last week and they were the proper gap. let me know. thanks for the quick reply by the way.

Have you tried to give it full throttle? Im not suggesting that you do, Im just curious if you have. Im having rough idle too where it searches the rpms and it goes up and down. I think its your fuel filter or ISC...

Test your ISC.
Run a Boost Leak Test.
Make sure your TPS is adjusted properly.

What kind of plugs? Changing your Fuel Filter may be a good idea if it hasn't been done in a while.
