PLEASE ANY IDEAS HELP ...


BEFORE idle SETTLES it surges up to 2200rpms before then stops surging and regulates down to 900-RPMs BEFORE ITS WARM

ALSO ONCE IDLE STOPS SURGING AND IS REGULATED IF YOU TOUCH THROTTLE CAR STALLS.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

Why do you have two red lights on the dash? It could be a alternator that's dying out.

negative l just replaced alternator and checked my alt fuse and had to replace that to.

Do a boost leak, check your TPS and check your your Timing Marks.
But, I would say,,,, You a big boost Leak.

He isn't being shot down, he's just being told the best option. Taking it to someone who knows exactly what to do and has the tools to do it is better than just tearing into it with nothing but collective opinions from people on DSMtuners. No one really knows his extent of mechanical knowledge, not saying he doesn't have any, but it would just help prevent any permanent damage.

I'm more concerned with what will happen to the car making 500 hp built by someone who is having such a hard time with simple issues.

The car is telling you what is wrong...adjust the TPS if that doesn't work you will probably need a new one, but you need to make sure the ISC is working properly first.

The other issue with the shifter requires finding out what is worn out with the linkage or cables. All simple things.

I am helping him, by telling him to take it to someone with more experience.

Neither of those lights are CEL its for OPEN dOOR and EBRAKE.
I got code 14 a while ago.

The mechanic is not an option,
Will be checkin isc iac tps

If a mechanic isn't an option try to contact someone around you area with a lot of experience with DSMs, that should be the next step. Hopefully you find someone that's willing to help you for free, either that or buy him a 6 pack .

Make a search and follow the instructions.

Fuel cut-don't scare me I'm only building 5 lbs of boosy so I don't see any reason for me to be hitting fuel cut, but when I tried diagnosing this problem a few months ago a lot of people were stuck on it being fuel cut for a minute but then changed their mind to I don't remember now I can try and dig up the old thread from a dff forum

And boost leak I'm almost positive I can see oil leaking threw on the bottom of one ic cuppler so I know that's probly one right there.

Can anyone shhot me a link for a good way to blt the whole system not just the IC

ya the bike pump really does nothing ....

i got bltester all set up with no air compressor

just replaced the compressor outlet gasket and it still wont hold 5-20psi(it just sits at zero the whole time ALSO nothing shows up on my boost gauge(is that because its not reaching the intake manifold!?!

i think its in the couplers!?!?

anyone in san diego who could help me track it down
