idle goes low at stop signs and wants to die

I have a 95 GS-T and in am kind of confused right now. When she starts up she is around 800 to 900 rpms and is fine. After driving for a lil bit (like 5 to 10 minutes) and come up to a stop sign or stoplight (even to slowing to to turn) she drops down to bout 200 rpms then pops up to 500 back to 200 then up to bout 700 or she just dies. Cant really figure out the problem, if someone could help i would be much appreciative, its my baby we are talking about:dsm:
 
I've got the same issue right now with my 92 GS. Going to do a compression check and also check for vacuum leaks, and replace my ISC (again) to see if that helps. If not, it may be fuel pump issues.

Try checking some of the things I listed above, and if that doesn't help, let me know. I'll update you more on my situation to give you some more ideas.

Also try running a boost leak test. There is plenty of info on this site on that subject. And make sure your BISS is screwed all the way down,
 
I had the same problem. It turned out to be a bad coil in the ISC motor. The ISC has 4 coils and if one or more goes bad it can cause the vehicle to stall at idle. You can use the following proceedure to test the ISC http:///dmtalon.v8eaters.com/ISC.html. A bad coil in the ISC can fry the drivers in the ECU over time.
 
I had the same problem with my 1g, thought it was the way the throttle cable was hooked up so i adjusted that but then it idled too high, I replaced the IAC and problem solved
