There is a "u" shape nipple bolted to the side of my 7 bolt block. If you are looking at the car from the front, it would be just to the left of the turbo inlet (16g).

It is for coolant as far as I can tell because when I put fluid into the radiator, that's where it is leaking. I am putting my engine back together and that is the last thing I need to connect. I used up all the coolant hoses already. I don't know what this nipple is for.

Can someone look at their 7 bolt and see what they have connected to it?

thanks guy. Need to get my car running again.

I dont have any of that stuff left on my car, so I cant picture it. Can you take a picture?

I have no clue what that is. Youre sure its coming out the block and not from the thermostat housing or coolant cross-over?

2g 7-bolts feed the turbo coolant from a banjo bolt coming out of the block.

so as you can see in the second pic. I am feeding coolant to turbo from the thermostat housing. Can I just block off the banjo bolt?

It would seem to me that it's better to feed from the thermostat housing, since the coolant would be cooler vs. coming out from the block.

thanks.
