electronic part identification help please

I am re-doing some wiring, and I am wondering what a certain part is used for. Its part number is MR228159. Its located just behind the radio on that little "shelf" that has a couple of other relays on it also. its a little silver box with a 6 pin plug that goes in it.

my google search tells me its a lighting control box, but I didnt notice any difference in lighting between having it plugged in or not.

I think google is right. You could call mitsubishi and ask
also. A parts rep will beable to give you the information instantly.
I didnt find anything on CAPS with that number.
