Yea could a bad IAC make my car run rich?

How can you fix a leaky iac?

well i tested the IAC and this is what i got. pin 1 and 2 i got .03 /pin 2 and 3 i got .58/ pin 4 and 5 i got nothing /pin 5 and 6 i got .02

Is that voltage, or ohms?

it appears by your measurements to not be in spec anymore. iacs should be anywhere from 28-33, and around 40 for the newer style. i would get a multimeter with an ohms range, and not just kΩ. mine goes 200Ω, 2kΩ, 20kΩ, 200kΩ, 2mΩ, 20mΩ. on the 200Ω range it gives me tenths of ohms as well. i have the regular (old 28-33) style one if you need one. all coils are in spec. you can PM me to talk about it if interested.

ok i tried testing with 200 ohms on pins 1 and 2 i got 29.5 ohms on pins 2 and 3 i got nothing also on pins 4 and 5 i got nothing on pins 5 and 6 i got 29.4 ohms

yes that one coil is like 500 ohms as you stated it was .5k which is out of the 200 ohm range

How can you fix a leaky iac?

-there is an o-ring that seals the entire iac to the throttle body

-there may also be carbon on where the iac valve seats on the throttle body stopping it from fully closing.
