i want to turbo a 1995 eagle talon esi

ok so i want to turbo my 95 talon esi, and i want to do it on the kinda cheap side, only running maybe 10psi at most so i dont destroy the stock internals.

i want to know what i have to buy, and i need to know every little thing. im new to the whole tuner world now that i own this talon.

so any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

From what ive heard those motors are not made to have boost, but if your going to do it, you need a turbo exhaust manifold, turbo, innercooler, and innercooler piping, a BOV, route oil and water lines to the turbo and im guessing someone to tune the car for a turbo

Have you done any other mods to max out the potential of the N/A? Turboing an N/A is not for the faint of heart. It would be far more economical for you to buy an already turboed car. It takes a fair amount of skill to turbo an N/A.

well ive done intake, headers, and an exhaust and ive done alot of work on vehicles before. im into jeeps and offroading so ive done alot of work just never done anything with turbo.

I would just put urs up for sale and wait till you can get a gst or gsx, your probably just asking for trouble when u turbo that car

Read the tech articles on here. Also do a search for the steps to take on turbocharging a 420a. There's an entire sub-forum dedicated to it. Start HERE.

The most popular route is the Hahn Racecraft kit. It has everything you need to boost your car and run about 7psi on the stock rotating assembly. If you want to try to piece together your own turbo kit, that's fine; people do it all the time. But if you forget one thing, or mismatch your parts, or don't tune it properly, you're going to be in for some big disappointments. Going with a kit that's fabricated for a specific car, with a warranty, using new parts, is the best way to go.

Please take this to heart.. Seriously listen to me as if I was your best freind.. Sell it and buy one that is already turbo man.. I was in your shoes once with 96 talon.. My freinds told me to just sell it and buy a gst or gsx.. Thats when i got my hands on this.. <<<
