First off, let me say that I already have the Symborski shifter plate bushings, the Speedsource shifter cable end bushings, and a B&M short shifter at 50%. When I put all of this together, I put the little plastic bushing at the end of the shifter base on backwards, and I had lots of slop. I corrected this, and it was all good.
Now (6 months later), I've begun to notice that when it's in gear, there's a little play side to side. It's not a lot of slop, it's just not tight in there. That's what I want to fix. Is there anything else I can do to make my shifter feel like a solid metal post when it's in gear?
Or is it possible that I'm just getting used to the other mods I did and this is perfectly normal?
