the car i am purchasing in about 2 weeks is going to have some mods already on it, it is a 95 gst. it has boost and egt guages. it currently sits at 10 psi, now i know i will need a front mount and a new clutch, but what else will i need to reach 400hp... and that is about the limit on the stock motor right... im sure ill need a good tune also.... what do u suppose hp-wise am i making right now/

oh and how will my stock mas hold out, like what kinda psi will it be able to handle/ will i need a GM mas

what is the most psi i should push on the stock intercooler/

Stock intercoolers heat soak at 15 ish with the stock turbo. Keep it under 13. Also DSMLINK. Your tuning friend. Act 2100 clutch, and a fmic with gm mas air. Then your set to run 16-20 psi. If you want more boost, mls headgasket and arp hardware. Should be easily attainable with your setup.

your going to need a aftermarket FPR, the stock fuel pressure regulator is overrun and cannot bypass enough fuel because the internal passage is too small when you first start the car up. You will know the stock FPR is overrun when the fuel pressure is over 35psi by a large amount at idle and the A/F ratio is hard to tune at low throttle.

Make sure you get the little things like, ported o2 housing, ported exhaust manifold, you will probably need some cams like some hks 264/272 if you are hoping to make 400whp on 91 pump down here in So Cal. Also what the other people said like afpr, headgasket, studs, bolts. Other things like intake manifold, ported head, engine internals will make you even more power. And with a gst and 400whp you better be investing a lot of money into suspension and tires because without that, you will never hook up. Good luck man, and btw I sent you a pm.
