I think my logger crapped out on me

My logger was working fine until today and now every time i try to log or monitor I get a "NO REV" message. I tried clearing my palm and reinstalling palm n stein but I still get the same message. How many pins are supposed to be on my interface connector. It's OBD 2 I'm thinking that maybe a pin fell out or something...

Our cars use four, although some protocols only call for three. Then again, some connectors have all 16 pins (with 12 non-functioning pins). It kind of depends on your interface and cable.

I got mine from OBD loggers.com if that helps. Mine currently has 6 pins and I can't understand why I keep getting "NO REV".

On a simliar note, For those of you with MMcd I had an issue. I went to start the car for the 1st time all winter, and the logger is going NUTS! Rev's going into the 1000's, knock counts in the 700's, even when the car was off. I tried putting it into a friends DSM, same thing. I found a new cable, same thing. I finally reinstalled MMcd, problem solved.

I know it's an old thread as well, but I'm having the "no rev" error with the palnnstein software, and my OBD only has one pin?! Am I looking at the right thing? THe harness that came with the logger (used, from another DSMer) plugs into the harness. Is the ODB interface the black, or the white harness? Mine plugs into the white, but I think when I was having a CEL read before, I plugged into the black (with the mechanics diagnostics). Any help?
