Hi everyone, so after losing my phone somewhere in my car I stumbled upon something that looks exactly like a manual boost controller. I couldn't find where the vacuum lines go to so I wasn't sure. Wondering if you guys can help me identify it. If it is one I'd be mad and happy because that saves me from installing a new one, but I already ordered one on ebay for 50 bucks. Just shows that I've never been in the back seat of my car. (Btw I just bought this car about a month ago, I'm a terrible inspector.)

Gonna try posting pictures after, it's not working right now.

Not sure if this works, not letting me attach my pictures for some reason.

My car is pretty stock so I wouldn't even turn it up that high LOL. I was thinking of getting it up to 13-15 psi just to feel the difference in power. I'm boosting at 9 psi right now and wanted it a bit higher.

Really? Wow i was on a 100% stock 7 bolt with stock 450s stock EVERYTHING, before my build, i was trying to kill the motor and turbo and it was running great at 18psi stock eerything, 5th gear pulls no problem. Turbo had no shaft play when i sold it. Motor was just fine also.

That turbos stock pressure is set at 15 psi, you should feel pretty damn safe running that high because without an mbc that IS what you would be at with a straight vac line hooked up to the actuator.

The stock fuel maps hit 9:1 afr i wouldent be worried at all to hit 18psi on your t25 its truly a rediculesly small turbo. And when you think about psi, its really irrelevant unless your compairing the same turbo, for instance.
your 9psi on your t25 will not be the same 9psi on my hx40 my hx40 on 9 psi might = like 30psi on your t25
Lol (exadurated to get the point across)You have a 4g63 man! This thing isnt a honda.

Lol oh man I've been at 9psi since I got this thing, about a month ago, and thought that was around stock because everything looks stock to me. Except for the two MBC's I found in the cabin which I'm assuming aren't working LOL. Wonder how good it'd feel at WOT at 15psi!

Didn't know that psi is relative to the turbo and not like a worldwide used unit of measurement LOL. I thought getting a bigger turbo means you jsut get to get a higher psi.

And oh man tell me about it this thing is the best! But I'm trying to be as careful as possible since I'm 19, no insurance (shhhhhhhh), and if my car were to blow up; I'd have to go back to taking the bus. On that note I'd much rather kill myself LOL.

Think airflow, your t25 is probably 23 lb per min. Max flow. Hx40 is 70lb per min, psi (pounds per square inch) is a pressure ratio to get to your max flow.

A good rule of thumb is 10hp per 1pound per minute of airflow. So 23 pounds per minute (your t25, which i don't even know the correct max airflow numbers for) would be approximately 230hp
