I think I found my problem!!!

So I have been battling with high idle among other things but I did a BLT at the throttle body and found that all my injector seals were leaking bad as well as the BISS screw. So I just have two questions where do I get the seals that sit in the head and are there just supposed to be those seals on the bottom of the injectors and a little o-ring that sits at the top in the fuel rail because on the bottom I only have those thick black seals that sit in the head???? Hopefully this will fix my idle.

you can go to any parts store and get them as a set just say you need fuel injector o ring kit or something like that

I went to autozone and that is all they had. I searched previous threads and it says that I need injector sheets that sit on the top of the injector, can someone confirm this?? Also will not having that sheet cause a leak at the bottom of the injectors?

I paid $6 for 4 at my local Mitsubishi and they have been revised and are more like a foam rubber unlike the rubber they were originally.

Each injecotor has an o-ring which seals it to the fuel rail, a rubber spacer between the rail and the injector, and a rubber seal which seals it to the head. Fuel injector Clinic sells a complete kit for $25 bucks. I have the same kit and it seals great! Here is the link: Complete seal kit for DSM/Evo OEM injectors. (Does not fit FIC/BlueMAX injectors. Order kit SLK 125/6 x4 for FIC injectors.)

also is there anywhere to buy the little rubber plug that goes over the biss screw?

the little rubber plug on top of the BISS is just to protect it from dirt and stuff if its leaking there youll have to unscrew it all the way out and get a new oring and put it around the bottom of the screw

Any Mitsubishi Dealership, JNZ Tuning, STM, or Extreme PSI. Here are the part numbers:

MD615958 - base idle set screw (BISS)
MD614948 - BISS screw
MD614150 - BISS rubber cap
MD608806 - BISS o-ring (#5)

So I called the dealership here in colorado springs and for the biss screw rubber cap o-ring, 4 injector lower insulator and 4 injector upper sheet they want 80 dollars so does anyone know where to get this stuff cheaper?

For the rubber seals on the bottom of the injectors i just used rubber gromits from the hardware. Work great and are only .36 cents each. Youll want to personally check each gromit on an injector for fitment though.

Edit: I consider this a bandaid untill i get used to link and break in my engine. Then its all FIC 1550cc injectors and seals for me. But others have had luck with the gromits lasting a while.

Actually I just realized that I do have those upper sheets but my bottom seals look a little crappy so hopefully the new ones I ordered will fix my leak

I'm sure they will. They get hard and brittle and leak like crazy over time. Mine where the same way and the FIC kit took care of it.

How do you figure that would it cause a lean condition? Air (boost) that has been measured by the MAF is escaping through the injector seals (boost leak) so when the air and fuel reach the combustion chamber there would be less air then was measured so it would be slightly richer then it should be.
