Ok here is the problem, just recently my girl and I have been hearing this weird noise coming from the front driverside strut. We thought it was because the axel was bad but it's still there even after swapping the axle. It only happens when you hit a dip or a bump on the driverside front tire. It sounds like the whole suspension assembly on that side is rattling around handling is not affected it takes turns well but when you hit a bump or a dip it sounds like the wheel is gonna fall off. Anybody have any clue what this may be or a way to figure out what it is? Thanks for any help given...

Check all of the suspension hardware but most likely it is the strut. If the bushings are new or just settling the bolt gets loose and the strut bounces in the tower a bit. It's the center bolt on the strut tower.

Could be your brake pads rattling. The rears like to do that if you lost the anti-rattle clips. Sometimes it can be hard to determine if it's from the front or rear.

check the lower ball joints...

I agree on checking the ball joints as well. If the vehicle is making a clunking noise then this is normally the problem. If the struts are bad or atleast the mounts, they normally just sweek really bad. Unless there is no mount left, which might be your case. Either way just jack the car up and shake down the entire front end for play.
