I have a 95 GS-T, I have had it for about a month now, it has an injen intake and filter, 3" cat-back exhaust, a 1g BOV, and a RRE upper intercooler pipe. It runs good, but I have been noticing that oil is appearing inside the intake, it's blowing out the BOV onto my hood. I know I shouldn't have the BOV venting to the atmosphere, I made the mistake of buying the wrong intake, I have already ordered a new one and it is on the way. I haven't noticed any smoke except in the mornings when it is warming up it puffs just a little tiny bit of smoke. The intake wouldn't be the problem, or would it? I have heard of bLow by(but I am not exactly sure of what that is), is that what I am expierencing? Is this a problem that should really concern me or is it normal? :dsm:

Check your PCV valve...

you would have to have a shit load of oil in your IC track to have it be blowing out your bov...

I don't think thats the case... take your lower IC pipe of and the IC off and give it a good cleaning, there is a VFAQ on how to clean the IC...

What exactly is the PCV valve? Where is it located?

above spark plug #4. top left pf the valve cover pointing at the intake manifold. has a black hose leading to the intake manifold.

On my car there is a house coming off the valve cover back into the intake, and there is no valve there, but there is a filter, is that what it is supposed to be? Should I replace the filter?
