i think i have a bad problem

ok.i just replaced my exhaust manifold and noticed that i stripped the threads on the block where the stud goes on the far right bottom of the manifold.i know it's a 8mmx1.25.well i tried to drill it out to make it a 10mmx1.25 but i cant fit the drill in there to open it up.now i think i messed it up by trying to force it in there.well i guess my question would be.Is there any way i could just fill the hole in with something to still hold the screw and withstand high temp ?I hope ya understand what im trying to say.thanx.

Tried those reverse outs? My friend broke a bolt for his thermostat housing in a jeep. We ended drilling in the block to make a new hole, and used a thing called "heli coil" at advance out. Pretty much it will re thread your hole for the any bolt size you want. He has never had problems with that. Other then that wtf..... WTF
