I only pulled my fuse box up so I could clean and paint underneath. I was looking at the bottom of it and thought maybe I should open it up, considering EVERY single other piece of this car has been broken/loose/covered in silicone/missing/hammered on/stripped or just plain wrong so WHY would the wiring be any better? After all, I did just repair about 20 wires that had fire damage, less than 2ft. From the fuse box.

Maybe I just thought it was a kid/novice and just gave him/her too much credit/benefit of the doubt, because even after opening it up and removing about 3ft of electrical tape I never expected to find something this shoddy 😂

There was a 4” strip of wire with 3” of the insulation stripped off of it. Then they took that exposed wire, spilt it in two and had half going to the power wires and half going to the fuse box. Just loosely looped over once on each side. They Couldn’t even be bothered to twist it 10% as tight as I tie my loaves of bread !

So far this is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen under a hood and I was in absolute hysterics finding it. I just had to share it LOL sorry if it’s in the wrong spot

If the dude had been a REAL professional he'd have used some duct tape to wrap it. Don't suppose there's a coat hanger holding the muffler on, or maybe zip ties keeping the bumper on?

Honestly there have been so many embarrassing things like that on this car I don’t even know where to begin. There’s no way he was ever gonna get it running LOL I think that’s why I got it for $700 with $3500 worth of aftermarket parts included, he was probably mad and ready to be done with it 😂
