I thaught my L2R was spoling quickly before.... But this is just insane!!!

All I know is there is going to be some serious HP being put down on the Dyno that day. ;) Personally Larry, I think once you get the bugs worked out your car is gonna fly. Josh really knows his stuff, so he should be able to help us tune like a mutha! Bring on the BOOST!

Kevin

Anitlag. Heheh. Good luck finding grip. You think finding grip at the drag strip is hard? Try putting down 380+ ft/lbs of torque while going around a corner at full suspension droop. Then lets see about torque. ;)

Unfortunately the limit that an autocross car can handle is determined not by the engine but by traction of the tires/suspension/surface of the course. So there is such a thing as **too much too quickly** for an individual car.

Besides, an L1R w/ 9:1 pistons spools up just fine (21psi by 3000 or so). **cough** Or so I have heard. :D

You know how you can tell that Sean isn't a real drag race kind of guy. He doesn't even know it's more impressive to put in his signature that he ran 112mph @ 12.7 with the L1R and stock side mount.

Son of a ......fixed. :)

As if you couldn't tell I am not a drag racer by my misearble 1.95 short times. In autocrossing, you have a little bit of space before the time starts. ;)

that would be my goal too, 14b, sidemount(mostly stock), stock internals, stock injectors, mostly stock maf, stock bov, no extra electronics. Tall order, but I wanna see if I can.

thats not all that big of a tall order I have a friend running 12.6s in his 1g with a funky tranny.

Me on the other hand I have a 2g that my friend is a tall order.

cool, seems better than I thought :)

my car has 216k on it tho, hehe :) And also a funky tranny, and weak clutch. Am scared to launch it too hard as well.

As for perf parts, all I am missing is the lower i/c pipe, and an intake pipe, as well as the modified(bigger in/out pipes) sidemount. Also, I could do some porting. And maybe a walbro 190 would be good as well. I don't want to get a different fuel pressure reg tho, so we will see.

i heard about it.... i want it.. and im gettin it... now i need to know where i can get a deal on the L2R with all the necessary parts.... and another question... what is better for it... internal or external wastegate??

when is the L1R gonna be available to the general public?

I wish these guys would make up their mind when they are going to release this turbo.

I asked them in september and they said "end of the month"; I asked them in october, and they said "end of the month to start taking orders." Now it is middle of November and they have not changed their web site.

Z1500,
What kind of testing are you doing, and why is it taking so long?

If this turbo is not released soon I am just going to get the FP Big28.
