ok first off I have a 97 GSX

1. Is the EVO III turbo gonna make it faster and is it gonna spool up any quicker?

2. If i get the EVO III Manifold will i be able to avoid the 2g install kit and just bolt the turbo right on to it? and will everything fall back into place or am i gonna have to cut the IC pipes or something liek taht to make it fit?

Umm, the turbo will make it a little faster, but without supporting mods for the turbo, you will not see a HUGE difference. Spoolup will be slower.

The EVO manifold jsut has bigger ports. It will not eliminate the need for an install kit y by ANY means!

If you get a full install kit, it will be pretty pain free. If you half ass it, you are going to have to do more work.

You will still need the install kit. Having the EVOIII Mani is just like replacing your 2G manifold, just with better flow.

The turbo will not really make the car faster if you have not upgraded your fuel system. When I went with the B16G, my car was slower because I was overrunning the stock fuel system. There was no gain of power until I put in the 550's, 255 and MAFT. Then she ran like Forrest Gump. :laugh:
