I Need Help

For starters, I'm a true newbie to the whole Mitsubishi/DSM world. I have no clue on what I'm doing . I have a '97 Eclipse RS. I'm doing a engine swap with a 4G63T engine. I can do that right? Anyways...I need to know exactly what parts I'm going to need to do this transplant. I'm not doing it myself. I just need to know what I have to have in order to get this job done right.

Save yourself alot of time, money, and work and find a nice AWD 5spd.

Swapping a 4G63 engine into a 420A car isn't a good idea. The engines are completely different, and you'll spend much more money doing this swap than it would cost to just buy a GS-T/GSX to begin with. So... either buy a GS-T/GSX or build up your 420A and turbo it. The 4G63 swap just doesn't make sense. Turboing the 420A will take time, and a good amount of money since you have to beef everything up to handle the extra power.

Dustin's opinion pretty is pretty much the same as any of the forum leaders here. Bottom line: It's possible but not worth it.
