hey DSMers, what can I do to make my dsm quicker?. I mean when I hit the gas padle all the way down, I feel like it's dying. but when I'm driving slowly and then I hit the gas padle all the way down I feel it's got the power. so anyone have an idea on whats going on with my TSI.

Chaeck the basics make sure the airfilter is clean and replaced the fuel filter if u already haven't it's bit tough though but well worth it pm and let me know of its progress

It feels like its dying? Or its just not pulling hard?

The stock T-25 is a weak turbo. I know, because that is what I'm running. At higher RPMs and WOT, it might not feel like its pulling hard because... well.. its not. If you are still running the leaky stock 2g BOV that is another problem. Between the T-25 and your stock BOV, you aren't going to be able to hold boost all the way to redline.

At lower speeds, the T-25 is kinda fun. This stock turbo spools very quickly at very low RPM, so when you're driving slow and you hit the gas, you are going to feel the turbo spool up and "pull" your car along. Of course, the downside to this quick spooling turbo is that it has virtually no top end power. Like I said before, the T-25 will not hold boost to redline and you won't really feel it pulling at higher speeds and higher RPMs.

If you're convinced that its not just the weak turbo and you really think your car isn't performing like it should, here are some simple and cheap things that will help you car's performance.

-Tune up (change plugs, plug wires, etc.)
-Do a Boost Leak Test
