I searched and searched, I couldn't really find exactly what I wanted.

Here are some pics of my AFPR and the fuel pressure gauge. I think I know how to install the AFPR, but I'm not sure abuot the gauge.

I'd also like to know what kind of AFPR this is. I got it from a guy like this, with no packaging.

Does the gauge go on the fuel filter? and do I have to buy anything else?

The afpr looks like a direct replacement so just take you old one off, but have a rag around the line is going to have some pressure behind it. The gauge looks like it will go on your fuel filter.

Okay. How do I go about adjusting it? Isn't 38 psi the stock fuel pressure for a 1G? My friend was telling me something about unhooking it.

Any idea how much these two items cost? I got them because the guy owed me 100 bucks, and just gave me these instead.

If thats the stock FPR on that AFPR, its not going to lower pressure. You need to buy an AFPR like the popular Aeromotive units or the full throttle speed bolt on unit (I chose this unit). Gauge kit you have is worth 20-30 bux, and the AFPR is useless in what you're trying to accomplish (lower base fuel pressure).

You can adjust fuel pressure by pulling off the vaccum line going to the nipple of the fuel pressure regulator and while monitoring the gauge you install either on the AFPR or fuel filter, loosing the adjusting nut and turn the adjusting screw. 1gs base fuel pressure is around 37psi.

I used the exact same gauge kit you have but mounted it on the AFPR. You can mount your gauge unit on the fuel filter, detailed instructions should be in your package.

Hope that helps.

It's a B&M Command Flo attached to the stock FPR base. It has all of the drawbacks of the stock FPR except you can raise the base pressure.

The Gauge kit replaces the top banjo bolt on the fuel filter.

The Gauge kit is useful the regulator is junk so you got $35 back from your $100.

Hm... so I can't use this?

I have a Walbro 255 fuel pump. This won't work?

How much does this unit cost anyway?

It won't do thing to help with the overrun from a 255, it's still got the stock regulator base with it's too small return line port.

The command flow is $65 new http://www.roadraceengineering.com/eclfuel.htm Scroll down to find it.

Argh.... that bastard...

Oh well. I'll just get 100 bucks back instead. ;)
