i might upgrade my turbo, Which one should i get and what supporting mods do i need?

i know where i can get a cheap big 16g, i also know where i could get a good deal on a super t70. Since i am running the stock internals will any of these turbos be good for me or should i get a 14b? also what supporting mods would i need and could i tune with my Maf Translator? Sorry for all the questions, i just dont wanna blow my car up.

Because people need to learn how to find information for themselves. It's laid out very clearly on the site and very easy to find as well. Just because you have a question doesn't mean that someone else didn't already have it as well.

If you have a choice between a MHI B16g and a 14b go for the 16g if it's not much more than the 14b. There is only a small jump between the 14b and 16g (not E316g) and they both require the same install kit for a 2g.

Check the dyno challenge and 1/4 mile times to see what is possible for either and what kind of supporting mods you would need.

Also, if you don't know what the condition is it would be a good idea to get it rebuilt either yoursef or send it off to justin (jusmx141). There are some tech articles on how to rebuild them as well and there is no need to send it off to get rebalanced if you can follow directions.

For either one you shouldn't run more than 14psi BUT any turbo larger than your factory turbo IMO should be ran on lower pressure until you have the proper fuel mods to support it. 15psi on the T25 would be like 12psi on the 16g for instance and each click will make your mixture leaner and leaner.
