I might need motor/tranny mounts

So I think one of my mounts is either bad or the insert is ####ed ... or rather should I say it isn't even there and im getting really back jerk and loud clang sometimes when i was shifting and or moving a certain way . So i parked iti nthe garage and now I need to figure out which I need though I would like some insight as to where would be a good place to just get a whole mount as opposed to just inserts. I'm kinda strapped on cash so I don't want to drop ALOT of money . Worst case scenario being I can buy them from autozone for like 25-30 a piece .

Mounts are like $60 a piece(stock) , Prothane inserts are like $80 for the whole set.
Major pain to install though.
Have you verified the mounts are bad yet? Power brake the car in forward and reverse and watch the motor rock.
Also check all the mounting bolts, You may have a loose or broken bolt somewhere.

Prothanes will increase vibration throughout the car. Lots of new rattles and shakes will become noticeable.
I litterally removed my entire dash yesterday to tighten and install foam behind everything that touches.
One more thing, Bad motor mounts will rock the intercooler piping every time you stop and go, And shift. Not good.
Mine borke the mounting tabs off the core.
The noise you are hearing may be the piping banging around and getting rubbed through.

Pull them out and check them. I busted my front one then filled it with window weld cost like $25 feels better and makes the car vibrate more which aint to bad

Yeah I have to pul them . And I can't power break I'm a stick shift . I hope things turn out to just be like a broken bolt though so it's a simple fix. I won't know till I have time ot pull em
