He never responded to my last e-mail, so I forwarded everything I could to the FBI's Cyber Crimes department. Who knows what they will do?

I've never seen that 98 GSX up here & I use to live in Anchorage for like the past 8 years & I only live like 50 miles outside of Anchorage,AK now. So I think he's full of it imo so I call scam. Ask him if he would like to meet up tomorrow since I'm going to Anchorage then & tell him you would like to meet up at Sam's Club on Diamond because I would like to check it out to see if it's true let me know what his response is to that.

I dealt with this same kinda crap a couple of years ago and I did everything I could to get the person busted; including the FBI and international internet fraud agencies.

I spent many hours doing research and contacting authorities just to find that the person or people pulling this scam were in England.

The vast majority of these types of scams are coming out of other countries and I guess the feds can't do anything about it or just DGAF cause I still havn't heard back from anybody.

I still see a lot of these kinds of listings on every for sale site i check and I don't think they are going away anytime soon.

Best advice I can give to anyone is if it looks too good to be true, it's a scam.

I have the Fiance's Honda on CL right now. But the email that I have registered to CL is different than the one I put in the post. Today I got an email (the one that is in the post not the registered on on CL) that my post was put on hold. So to find out why I have to log in deal. So I knew right away that wasn't the right email addy that it came to so I did nothing. Then I got a few saying that I stole their account and that they are reporting me.

I hate CL....

Anybody watch Chris Hansen on How to catch a Scammer? (Yes Scammer not Predator)
I watched how they caught a Nigerian "business" man in England that somehow if Chris would deposit a large amount of money in his bank account the scammer would invest in it and make Chris a millionaire.
The guy was sweating bullets when he found out he was caught.

On a side note, i myself almost fell into a stupid trap like this before i got my DSM.

Yea and its legit this time . I have alot to focus on and this car is my side project so Its at the top of the list of things to go. Im not happy with the decision, but the family definitely comes first
