Hi every one 2 months ago i got a good deal on a Mitsubishi eclipse 99 420A
For around 300$.

Wen i got the car @ home i tried to start it but nothing i start checking the fuel pomp nothing it was broken i bought a new one and checked the pressure and it was good
then i putted new spark plug wire, new spark plug and nothing i checked the coil and i only had spark on cylinder 1 and 4
so i bought a new one and nothing the same thing
And the owner of the car told me he had change the ECU and it still was doing the same thing

So any one can tell me what the problem could be?
or give me some advice what to do next!!

You might check the cam position sensor or the crank sensor. I was getting intermittent misfire and it turned out to be the cam position sensor.

Also see what error codes you are getting, that could lead you in the right direction.

i have put a other cam sensor and nothing the same
and i have scanned the computer and the only code i get is a air temp sensor and nothing more
i have read somthing about ignition transistor what is that and where is it located in the car?

I have a 95 eclipse -- replaced the cam sensor when I rebuilt the engine... had a friend come over and obd II the engine - BAD CAM sensor circuit- I followed the OBD and it was correct replaced again and it worked - engine fired right up
