hi all,

i have a thermal r&d exhaust on the car i have just purchased (95 talon tsi awd). i need a cat for the car in order to pass emissions. will this cat work temporarily just to pass inspection? i can't tell if it has plug ins for the o2 sensors but it loooks like it does on the right of the picture..

i have seen this question and auction linked before on the forum but was wondering whether it will be good enough not to throw any cels.

You shouldnt have any issues with bolting up a stock cat to the Thermal exhaust. The Thermal exhaust is designed to be bolted up to the factory cat in the stock location.

The o2 sensor bung is in the 2.5 inch section of the Thermal Reasearch catback exhaust. The thermal bolts right up to the stock cat and it bolts right up to practically any 2.5 inch cat that I have run into so far. I got a Buschur racing cat on mine with the Thermal.
