Hey Jaybone, I just got a 1G dsm, and was wondering if you could provide me with any suggestions as far as what/how much a basic (somewhat cheap) sound system would go...I'm a student, so I obviously don't have a ton of money to waste. Sorry, i am having a big problem.. My wholesaler suddenly closed their doors a few days ago and i was not able to get anything for awhile.. it totally crippled my business for a week... im back on line with the cellular phones... but for the car audio- im tring to find a new warehouse to get stuff from.....

that sucks jay - although it woulda been nice to hear it from you as it was happening so that i didn't think you were just blowing it off - unfortunately i already dropped the 1.5k somewhere else but i do still need an amp. i have like 300 more to spend but might be willing to kick in some more dough for what i need. i'm going to be running 2 channels @ 4ohm that will be able to handle 1,400W RMS a piece (2,400 total) but i dont need that much power - i'd like to run @ about 25% which would be 350W RMS per channel (700 total) so a decent amp anywhere inbetween 700 - 1000W is what i'm looking for.
