be my guest LOL. i was upset when it happened cuz i was still at my old job makin minimum...but 2 weeks later i got hired with fujifilm medical systems so now i'm just workin on it when i can.

Couldn't tell if something if the motor seized and a sprocket ripped the the teeth off the belt ... how fast was the motor turning when that happened?

Holy crap! OMG I've never seen a piston with the valves imbedded in them like yours. Simply incredible. Good luck with the rebuild.

2k rpm?

And it did all that? Was that just because the belt stripped teeth because I've seen belts totally snap at higher RPM's and the engines and heads take little to no damage.

here's what happened...the valves were undercut stainless so rather than bending and stopping they just snapped off, now i was in 5th gear so the car rolls easy in 5th (overpowering the motor easily) the belt snapped and the car coasted close to 400ft, the forward momentum of the car was more than enough to keep the motor turning in gear rather than just locking the motor up. the reason it coasted so far is because i was already coasting at the time not accelerating, all i noticed over the radio was a "snap" and the lights went dim, i figured i threw the alt belt again.
