About two months ago I posted that i needed to find someone in my area that had a logger. I finally boutght one and went to use it. the batterys fell out of the back of the palm and the program dissapeared. so i decided to send my palm to a friend in the california bay area and have him put the program back on it. I decided to try to start the car and it started up fine i didnt know why. my check engine light was going on and off though. Sometimes the car would start and other times it would start and run like crap for a few seconds and then kill itself. I actually sat down after making sure the there was fuel, and spark and that the ecu caps were not leaking and came to the conclusion that it had to be my cam angle sensor. low and behold i seen a green wire running off of the cas for a monster tach that the previous owner had installed and then was stolen. the only good monster tach is one that dosent exist so as far as im concerned that honda guy done a huge favor to the previous owner and I. come to find out i decided to remove the wire.
When i did i just yanked the thing and it flew over and hit the hot terminal on the battery????? so obviousley that let me know that it was grounding out somewhere under the dash. I removed it and the car runs great again. wow what a stoopid problem. i wish i would have thought about it sooner. :thumb:
