I did something really stupid and now problems with stereo

While putting a heat shield on car (because it didn't have one when I bought it) I touched the B terminal of my alternator. My first thought was OH S***!!! I started my car up and started watching my logger. Car runs and idles ok, all sensors are working, Battery voltage is 13.8 to 14 volts when it's running and everthing seems to be in working order except for the radio. When I turn my volume up past 10 the radio shuts off and on until I shut the car off. Does the radio have anything to do with the ecu ? Where should I begin to look to diagnose my problem ?

i did that like 3 times today no joke and everything is fine electronically..

I unhooked the battery, (should've done that when I put on the heat shield) pulled every fuse and fusible link today and all of them are still good. I hooked the battery back up and ran the car. My radio works fine now as long as I don't turn the bass up too high. So I guess the problem is solved. ALWAYS unhook your negative cable when you work on your car.
