did free mods now have problems

ok i removed the vacuum lines on the throttle body, put a valve gasket breather on (the little k&N filter) and turn the boost up to about 14 (so my boost gauge said). i did a test run and things were going good, then i did a 2nd gear pull and that went fine to till i stopped. after i started going again my car sounded like a wrx the sound was deeper and it almost sound like the exhaust was hitting the driveshaft. when i get home i pop the hood and see volts shooting across the intake manifold and the engine by the timing belt. some what of a diagram: valve cover l~l intake manifold

please help

Check your grounds. Maybe you pulled one off while doing the free mods. What is it 1g or 2g, I don't see it in your profile nor in your Name.

fixed it one of the spark plug wires came off the dist. cap but now my timing belt makes a weird noise like something just touching it and its making a dadadadada sound then goes away till i give it some gas then it dies again when i let off

you might have a rough idel.. somtimes you gota chage the idil with some mods... or check ## oil pressure?

DSMs don't have distributors. They have a coil pack. Anyway check your plastic cam cover and see to make sure it isn't rubbing on the belt.

Check your base timing, boost leak test your system and adjust your BISS screw.
